Exactly! Your second answer was correct. The dealer drew the last tile himself so 3 of the triples were concealed. Had someone thrown the winning tile, they would have paid 18,000 to the dealer. According to Tokoro's Mahjong (a Super Nintendo game), I made one omission: I forgot about the 2 fan for three concealed triplets. That would bring the total up to 8 fan, which is "baiman" (that is, 2 times mangan). Let's see if I remember my yaku correctly:<BR/>All sets contain terminals and honors: 2 fan<BR/>Two dora tiles: 2 fan (1 fan per dora)<BR/>All pongs: 2 fan<BR/>That's 6 fan altogether, so "haneman" (that's 1 1/2 times mangan). Mangan is 12000 for the dealer, I believe, so this hand, a haneman, would be 18000.<BR/><BR/>I did that all off the top of my head. Did I get it right?
